La Vie — a residential complex at the heart of resort life
One of my tasks is to photograph all the signature projects and locations in the cities where Whitewill sells real estate. Through photo stories, I try to capture the atmosphere and architectural details of these places to help our clients find a worthy place to live or invest.
A large green lawn with a palm-lined alley leading to the main entrance separates the La Vie residential complex from the road, where cars crawl slowly along JBR.
The developer didn't skimp on space, so there was room for a volleyball court, a workout zone, a children's playground shaded by white canopies, and a grilling area with plenty of tables.
The lobby is beautiful, with high ceilings. The residential complex features a fitness center with treadmills facing the sea and a lounge that hasn't opened yet. On the grounds, there are children's and adult pools with views of Bluewaters, plus a section of the public beach fenced off for residents, with about a dozen sun loungers.
Apartment prices have doubled since the sales launch. Two-bedroom units that once cost $800,000 now sell for $1.6 million and up, while view four-bedroom lots have risen from $2 million to $3.8 million. Over the past six months, 17 secondary market transactions have been completed in this residential complex.
Apartments in this project are actually quite suitable for flipping, because the standard finish from the developer includes a questionable kitchen design, small-format gray tiles throughout all floors, and glossy white window frames that make the spaces look cheaper.
I love working with such apartments because with a minimal set of tools, you can dramatically transform the space.
Those who purchase apartments in Bluewaters Bay can get a preview of how their units will look after completion by visiting La Vie.
