Jumeirah Living Business Bay on the peninsula
One of my tasks is to photograph all the signature projects and locations in the cities where Whitewill sells real estate. Through photo stories, I try to capture the atmosphere and architectural details of these places to help our clients find a worthy place to live or invest.
Jumeirah Living is the main building of the entire peninsula. Developer Select Group is creating it in the format of a large-scale residential district on the canal. It's surrounded by water on three sides. Seven tall towers and low-rise buildings along cozy waterfront promenades.
The star of this article is the tower, which is literally packed with amenities and managed by a hotel operator. I was invited to check out this new tower by my broker Yura, who specializes in this area at Whitewill. He said I'd like it. The building is just being handed over. Our first clients have just received their keys.
The tower itself is 35 stories high. It has 82 residences ranging from 2 to 5 bedrooms. The apartments are spacious. From 190 square meters in two-bedroom lots to full-floor penthouses. The architecture was handled by Killa Design. They also created the Museum of the Future and the famous Marsa Al Arab wave.
The tower's exterior is inspired by superyacht aesthetics. The architects avoided sharp angles. The rounded contours of the terraces and balconies visually resemble the decks of a liner. The building is located at the very tip of the peninsula, right next to the water. The water views won't be blocked by new development.
Let's step inside. Through the revolving door, we enter a lobby with high ceilings. The level of a good hotel inside a residential building.
The resident amenities are assembled like a private club. A large club lounge with a terrace. Three equipped meeting rooms. A kids' area with PlayStation. Two home offices. A private cinema.
And also a large, two-story gym. And atmospheric. With spaces for yoga and personal training. For relaxation after physical exertion, there's a hammam and a large sauna. A jacuzzi pool and three separate massage rooms. And this isn't a hotel, just a residential building.
I looked at all the common areas. Took lots of photos. And I have to admit, in person it looks even better than in the renders. Solid interiors with the recognizable Jumeirah touch.
Then we went up to the apartment. And I was genuinely surprised.
