Amalfi — villas on an island near Bulgari
One of my tasks is to photograph all the signature projects and locations in the cities where Whitewill sells real estate. Through photo stories, I try to capture the atmosphere and architectural details of these places to help our clients find a worthy place to live or invest.
Villa Amalfi is a townhouse community on Jumeirah Bay Island in Dubai. The project is located next to the Bulgari Residences and shares the beach with the hotel.
The developer is Meraas — my favorite developer. A private park spanning one hectare has been landscaped between the villas. The grounds are lush with greenery, as you can clearly see in the photos.
Amenities include a fitness center with a yoga studio, a basketball court, and a beach volleyball court. There is also an outdoor pool, but when I was taking photos, the water had been drained for maintenance work, so it doesn't appear in the shots.
Villa Amalfi features 68 villas. Three-bedroom villas measure 370 square meters, four-bedroom units — 420 square meters, and five-bedroom residences — 470 square meters. Prices start from $6 million for smaller lots and go up to $13 million for the larger villas.
At the sales launch in late 2019, these lots cost $2–3 million. Over five years, prices in the location have tripled.
The main drawback is the construction of dozens of new villas around the entire perimeter of the project. This creates temporary inconvenience for residents and blocks their sea views. However, these new villas do not have access to the park or amenities.
Nevertheless, some units sold last year for $30 million. Once all construction is complete, prices at Villa Amalfi are sure to rise even further.
