Canal Front Residences — waterfront living in the heart of Dubai
One of my tasks is to photograph all the signature projects and locations in the cities where Whitewill sells real estate. Through photo stories, I try to capture the atmosphere and architectural details of these places to help our clients find a worthy place to live or invest.
In search of new interesting locations for flipping, I took a walk along the Dubai Water Canal promenade. Along the water, the developer has placed charming residential complexes. By Dubai standards, they are low-rise — up to 15 floors.
On one side of the residential complex lies the artificial canal, with leisure yachts gliding gracefully along its waters. On the other — Safa Park, the largest green space in central Dubai.
Seven residential complexes have been built between the park and the water. One-bedroom apartments measuring 80 square meters cost $680,000. Two-bedroom units of 130 square meters are priced at $1 million. Spacious three-bedroom apartments of 180 square meters — $1.3 million.
At first glance, it seems there are no bad views in this project. From the lower floors, you look out either onto the canal waters or the greenery of the park. From the higher floors — onto the skyscrapers of the central district.
Since the beginning of the year, 220 transactions have been completed in this project. People are receiving their keys and moving in. However, full-fledged life in the location will only begin in a couple of years. There are no shops or cafes yet. Construction of other projects continues on both sides of the canal.
But this also presents an opportunity for those who think in terms of 1-2 year investments.
