Madinat Jumeirah Living — stylish Arabic quarters
One of my tasks is to photograph all the signature projects and locations in the cities where Whitewill sells real estate. Through photo stories, I try to capture the atmosphere and architectural details of these places to help our clients find a worthy place to live or invest.
A couple of years ago, I had already been here when the developer had just delivered the first quarters, but since then the complex has expanded noticeably.
The gate to the courtyard in one of the newer quarters was unlocked. I went inside and took a batch of photos.

The project is built on the «city within a city» concept. 54 low-rise buildings, from 4 to 16 floors. The look and feel of an authentic Arabic quarter. Sandstone-toned facades. Dark wood awnings. Plenty of greenery.
The MJL district consists of clusters: Lamtara, Asayel, Rahaal, Jadhil, Lamaa, Jumana, Nourel, and Al Jazi. Each quarter is made up of several buildings, carefully arranged around its own private park with a pool.
Apartments range from 1 to 4 bedrooms. There are penthouse units with a view. Sizes from 70 to 360 square meters. Every apartment has a balcony or terrace.
Prices for one-bedroom apartments start at $500 000. Two bedrooms units cost $850,000. Three-bedroom units, from $1.5 million. On average, that's about 7 000 per square meter, including finishes, a kitchen, and a parking space. Since the start of this year, there have been 96 transactions in the project.
Just across the road, on the seafront, you’ll find top-tier hotels, two kilometers of beach, spas, and restaurants. The view of Burj Al Arab from the window is one of the most iconic in Dubai.
