Whitewill Sensation. What it was like.
Thought we'd share how our massive Whitewill party went today.
On the day of the party the forecast was disappointing, as in the song by Dezl - "All day long it rains like a bucket, my head is foggy, my body shivers."
At 8:20 p.m., the rain intensified even more. Guests crowded under the roof, warming up with Prosecco and Aperol. And only the bravest ones, who were wearing raincoats and who were under umbrellas, stood on the dance floor, risking that the water from the sky would dilute the alcohol in their glasses.
Here we go. Oleg Torbosov opened the evening with a welcome speech and traditionally struck a big gong. And then the first miracle happened - at the moment when our first guest artist Anton Tokarev came on stage, the rain stopped completely.
After Anton were our secret guests - Ivanushki International, who would have been quite pulling for the headliner of the party at some other real estate agency. But we had them as an appetizer before the main artist of the country - Basta. He was great.
The whole crowd sang "Clean High," "My Game," "Slowpoke," and, of course, "Sansara."
The phenomenon of Basta is that he has been performing for 25 years, two generations have grown up on his songs, and yet he has no haters. Vasya is loved by teenagers, middle-aged bankers and serious oilmen. We had a lot of the latter, because we invited 700 clients to the Whitewill Sensation and another 700 seats for the team, partners, bankers and developers.
We deliberately called in slightly more people than the venue could accommodate, and the calculation worked - the monotonously drizzling rain all day scared away about 500 people.
And here's the second miracle - 10 seconds after Basta finished singing and left the stage, the rain started to drizzle again. Magic.
