Synagogue, church and mosque.
Speaking of tolerance in Arabic, on the already familiar Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, where the Louvre, the Zayed Museum, the Guggenheim Museum, the Natural History Museum and Japan's Tate Galleries sit one after another, there is another unusual building complex called Abrahamic Family House.
It consists of a mosque, a church, a synagogue and an educational center. The interiors and architecture of each cube reflect the values shared by Judaism, Christianity and Islam, and provide a platform for understanding and acceptance between people.
The architect is David Adjaye. The buildings are already fully built and the project is scheduled to start as early as 2023. This is how a synagogue came to be in the Emirates.
