Peninsula Dubai. Aman's Bold Neighbor

Yesterday I wrote about the ultra-luxe residences under the Aman brand. Got a few inquiries from clients and brokers. I continue to tell you about Dubai's expensive real estate and will introduce a new project — Peninsula.

The residential complex is located there on the island Jumeirah Bay-2 in the neighborhood of «Aman». But the price tag here is more democratic. About twice as much.

Architecturally «Peninsula» its neighbor is definitely not inferior, and to all the luxuries of the hotel Aman can walk along the promenade for a couple of minutes.

The project is part of the portfolio of developer H&H. The bold architecture is the responsibility of Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, and the interiors are by British 1508 London, whose work can be seen in the residences of Bulgari, Mandarin and Cipriani, as well as in collector hotels around the world.

Nine stylish buildings of varying heights arc around the marina. The towers of «Peninsula» seem to levitate on thin supports, like ship's masts, which support powerful platforms with panoramic terraces, gardens and private pools.

The upper levels look like modern superyacht decks. Open areas with pools, lounge areas and pergolas. Lots of glass, concrete and metal. But everything is balanced by soft wood and vegetation, which with all the modernity gives the project a warmth.

The structures are brought outwards, as if the skeleton of the building is exposed — this is a signature technique of Rogers Stirk Harbour studio, the same studio that designed the Pompidou Center in Paris and Lloyd’s headquarters in London.

For residents, two view pools, a wellness area, gym, kids' club, walking gardens and a restaurant boulevard along the water. The first floors will house boutiques, cafes and art spaces.

Inside the houses — 120 residences with high ceilings, large terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows. The interiors are done in a natural palette: light wood, travertine, brass, white marble.

Our latest deals in this project went for $6.2m and $8.7m. But there are apartments for less.

The lots in «Peninsula» are spacious. Two bedrooms — 240 meters, three bedrooms — 500 meters.  {
