Today let's talk about one big museum in Abu Dhabi, the Zayed National Museum. Fosters + Partners were responsible for the architect. The building is actively under construction and will most likely open in a couple of years. It is located in the new Cultural District on Saadiyat Island.

This is not the last landmark museum in this location. By the way, the Abu Dhabi authorities paid $500m for the right to use the name "Louvre" for 30 years. Cool marketing.
