A slice of Business Bay.
Last week I took a walk with my iPhone around the Business Bay neighborhood, or rather not the whole neighborhood since it's big, but in the location of the Peninsula residential neighborhood under construction, where our brokers sell a dozen apartments every month.
By the name of the Business Bay neighborhood, it's clear that this is a business district. It's on the border with downtown. There are more than 40 business centers already operating here, but there are also homes to live in.
If you look at this slice of Dubai flat on Google Maps, it has a controversial feel to it, as some of the land parcels are fenced off empty squares with houses only planned.
But the neighborhood is actively developing and now a dozen projects are being built here simultaneously, blue water splashes in the canal, wide promenades for walking and jogging have been built, more and more stylish restaurants and cafes are opening - Business Bay is filling up with life.
