Exploring Dubai
For those exploring Dubai, noted right in the picture a few neighborhoods:
- Business Bay, Dubai's business cluster. There are about 40 business centers here, and there are residences to live in, but a lot of lots are not yet developed, giving the area a sense of unfinishedness;
- Down Town. The Burj Khalifa tower, fountains and Dubai Mall are located here;
- DIFC, the financial center. The largest banks and investment funds operate here;
- MBR City, a large cluster of villas and new residential neighborhoods in the interior of the city on the third line from the sea. They are building a blue lagoon here, and there are already good schools;
- Bur Dubai, the historic neighborhood where Dubai began to develop;
- Jumeirah, a large neighborhood near the sea with villas where locals live. Most of the real estate here is in the lishold category, which cannot be bought by foreigners, although there are exceptions, such as the Madinat Jumeirah Living projects;
- La Mer, a new island with townhouses, villas and apartment blocks. There's also the most unusual art beach in Dubai with dozens of restaurants.
