The word "greens" in English describes green lawns. Once here, it's easy to guess that it was the dense greenery that was the basis for the concept for this neighborhood.

Emaar started building the main phase of this project back in 2008, and there have been no new residential buildings here since 2012.

Apartments in this location have become popular with families who appreciate the dense greenery and yet want to live in the city center in a low-rise neighborhood.

The Greens features a cascade of picturesque ponds with walking areas, on one side of which are neatly arranged pudgy houses 8-10 stories high, and on the other side are The Views towers. From the windows of the high-rises open views of the green meadows of the Emirates Golf Club golf course and the panorama of Dubai Marina.

The neighborhood is also home to the highly rated British school Regent International, and has its own small shopping center, Greens Souk. The Greens neighborhood itself is conveniently located next to Sheikh Zayed Roal opposite the Palm across the street from Internet City.

Those who constantly moan about the low liquidity of apartments in Dubai on the secondary market, will be interested to know that since 2010, the prices of apartments in Greens have doubled, which in terms of interest per annum will capitalize 8% in the dollar on a horizon of 12 years, while from renting out lots bring another 5-6% per annum.

It's actually hard to get yourself something adequate here - there are almost no offers in the location, on PropertyFinder 80% of the listings are fake. People live and are in no hurry to sell. The demand for rent is also high, in all the apartments sold there were tenants with long contracts.

Last week, sales of a new residential building by Emaar called Golf Height started near the golf course. All the apartments in the project were sold out in 11 seconds.
