At the stand of Colombia they show what cool pots they make from clay, at the stand of Australia what cool surfing is there, Belarus is proud of Belaz and forest, France is proud of oysters and croissants, and America shows how it influences the whole world, creating iPhones, developing the Internet, conquering space - proud of entrepreneurs.
Here is this attempt to find its identity - one of the most touching and heartwarming parts of the exhibition. Countries are trying. They try to be interesting, to show themselves. Even the smallest ones.
The Russia pavilion looks dignified and large-scale. Surrounded by water, a large ball of intertwined multicolored threads is such a symbol of our tangled multinationality. The architect is Sergei Choban.
