What the Japanese are doing in Abu Dhabi. TeamLab Phenomena.

We'd like to showcase another cultural project on Saadiyat Island - it's TeamLab Phenomena, an interactive digital exhibition. The TeamLab building will stand on the shore of the island next to the Louvre and will be completed at the end of 2024.

Here's how the organizers describe the concept of the exhibition on their website, "Elements such as air, water and light permeate our daily lives, transformed by their environment into unique phenomena - with us they become works of art. The boundaries of their existence are ambiguous and continuous. Even if people destroy a work, it will exist as long as the memory of it persists."

Total Abu Dhabi's cultural cluster will have side by side on one island: "The Louvre," the Guggenheim Museum, the Zayed National Museum, the Natural History Museum and the TeamLab Phenomena interactive museum. 

A worthy collection not only for a couple of days of sightseeing from Dubai, but also for flying to Abu Dhabi specifically for a cultural experiential experience.
