Once Upon a Time: How Oleg Torbosov's Townhouse Was/is: How Oleg Torbosov's Townhouse Was Transformed
We continue our series of posts about Oleg Torbosov's townhouse upgrade as part of his investment strategy - flipping. Today we'll talk about the staircase upgrade, which took the most time. According to the designer, it is one of the most important elements influencing the perception of the residents. Therefore, the staircase required special attention.
Art remodel
First, they plastered over the black metal fixtures on the side. Then they built a new high wall to install additional light, so the interior was clearly added to. The old railings were simply cut down, leaving them only on the first span with glass. Light veneer panels appeared on the front wall, where a painting bought at a sale in Ebarza was placed. Extra closet
One window overlooking the courtyard was curtained with wooden blinds, behind which they hid decorative ferns. To experience the aesthetics of the new staircase - you need to go down it yourself, and you will understand everything. Now there is a cozy space under the stairs, which is ideal for an additional closet.
New walk-in closet
In the master bedroom, instead of a walk-in closet, there were simple white closets with sliding doors. It was clear from the start that this "factory" furniture would be gotten rid of as soon as they got to it. Now in its place is a stylish dressing room made of natural veneer with plenty of storage space and no extra doors. To complete the picture, the ceiling is also made of wood.
