Once Upon a Time - Flipping on the Example of Oleg Torbosov's Apartment
Today we want to talk about the transformation of Oleg Torbosov's apartment on Bluewaters as part of his investment tactics - buying liquid lots, upgrading and reselling at a good markup. Let's talk about his 2-story townhouse, or more precisely, about updating the living room and private office. The rare case where aesthetics go hand in hand with practicality.
Private office with terrace
There was one empty room in the townhouse, with nothing else besides a red couch and a TV on the wall. Although it had a nice terrace overlooking the green park.
The room was clearly in need of updating, so they decided to make it into a private office where you can work or do homework. On the wall on the left walnut panels, on the right volumetric paintings from plaster, on the window wooden blinds, and on the floor stylish gray carpet with rhombuses.
Double-height living room
Originally, in the double-height living room, the curtain rod was made in the middle of the wall. But the space with a 6-meter ceiling should be played differently: the curtains were raised directly to the ceiling, which immediately added nobility to the space.
The main wall was decorated in the form of an impressive rack of natural veneer for the entire height of the living room - Oleg's favorite trick. The overall color palette shifted from aggressive red in favor of calm neutral shades. And even now without decor and TV, the new living room seems much cozier.
