More than 500 trees a day are planted in Dubai. You won't recognize the city in a couple of years

Some 216,000 trees have been planted in Dubai in 2024, which is more than 500 per day. And 5 million flowers have been planted along the roads. The city's active greening campaign has already touched 165 locations and road junctions - and that's not the limit.

Green Dubai

Authorities have launched 65 beautification projects in Dubai as part of the Dubai Green Project. For example, a year ago, near Bluewaters, the Sheikh Zayed Expressway exit was without a single tree. Now there is landscaping, palm alleys and beautiful lawns.

If you were last in Dubai about 5 years ago - you won't recognize the city when you return. There are too many new green parks, squares and alleys in Dubai.
